Simple Machines Forum - Problem
#1

I have a problem with SMF, since their last update (2.0.7) my forums give a strange warning, I know it's self explaining although it is like this since a week.

Код:
Connection Problems

Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.
Is there any fix for this? At the moment I am trying to update but I barely think that solves it.

Did you try contacting their support?

I did, although they said it was a DDoS attack. I asked my host and they said the site should be up, so it is a problem at simple machines.

It's your hosting site being jammed then thats why you cannot open your forum.

Downgrade. That update is somehow messing it. I'm currently running 2.0.6.

You should open a ticket with them or ask on their forums which are dedicated to the product that you are asking about. You are far more likely to get a solution there. Or, ya know, ****** it.

Shall agree with the rest of the replies. The better way, is ofcourse to post this problem related to SMF, in their own support community. I'm also a part of that community and if i have any problem with the soft, i post that in their support section and everything is fine. They answer pretty quick.
