I am having a little trouble understanding how to make my own server. Can someone tell me a little bit more. I cant get it to read my IP address. What should i do?

hire someone else to host your server for you because frankly if you can't even find out your own external ip address you won't be able to do anything like make a server

I know my IP

just download new samp pack, run samp server then get your ip add it to your favs, with the port ( check your port in server.cfg) that's it

don't forget to port forward if you are behind a router... that's it... then knowing some pwn to customize your server would be nice too... sorry if i sounded a little harsh earlier just thought you had no idea what anything is

I did type it in with my ip and it say retrieving info for hours

Make sure that you port forwarded, then type the address into the server.cfg
