Which Windows 7 is better for gaming? [Solved]

[Minion Hello] Hello. I currently have Windows 8 and it' pretty good but I don't like it much. So now I'm about to install Win7, but I'm not sure which one should I install. Can someone give me a hand here? Thanks

Nope, Windows Ultimate is the version that is recommended for gaming.

It doesn't matter...Windows is Windows, and the different packages only add features that businesses and select IT pros would need.

Uhh, Windows 7 Home Premium or Professional will do the job perfectly fine at a much, MUCH lower cost. Ultimate does NOTHING to improve your gaming experience. There is absolutely no performance difference between each edition. The only difference between editions comes with Windows features, which there are barely, if any, features that will improve his experience since he is looking for a system optimized for gaming...

It's also worth noting Windows 8 and 8.1 actually provide some noticeable performance improvements in not only the OS experience, but also in gaming. Battlefield 4 benefits greatly from Windows 8 as it performs much better on Windows 8 than Windows 7. Windows 8/8.1 also has DirectX 11.1/11.2, whereas with Windows 7 you're stuck with DirectX 11.0.
