What's the goal of the game? Surviving in the forest? Anyway, it looks great but the whole idea of those creatures at night and the first-person view gives it too much resemblance to Minecraft, which is a pity imo.

Too bad that gameplay isn't the same as shown in trailers. Also, a huge success? Nah, just another game..

I know most of my comments are simpely bullshit troll comments. But seriously, people like you, that criticise games for even slightly reminding of another game, fucking annoy me.

There is building involved, that's the only thing I can see that would remind me of MC.

Well, fortunately it's only my opinion of this game. Also, I didn't say the game was an copy of Minecraft. It just reminds me a little bit too much of it. Maybe they even 'borrowed' a few ideas of it or something like that. There's a difference between that. Also, I'd love to tell you more:

1) Minecraft and The Forest are both survival games with first-person view.
2) The Forest is based in the forest. (duh) Minecraft is also 'mainly' based in the forest. Of course Minecraft also contains deserts and snow area's, but the forest is often the biggest part of the map and I also feel it plays the main role in the game.
3) Minecraft has night creatures like zombies attacking the players in the dark. The Forest also haves something similar. (don't know what they are exactly)

In short, everything I've seen so far in the trailer reminds me of Minecraft. There has to be a really good storyline behind it to wipe out that impression - at least for me. Otherwise the gameplay will be basically the same, searching for food and water and building stuff.
