Ok so every time i try to play GTA SA:MP it takes me to the main screen of GTA SA
So what should i do??

Restart your computer. Happened to me a couple of times.

Make sure SA:MP is installed to your GTA San Andreas directory

Man everybody knows this problem.You need to downgrade your gta it has to be 1.0 not 2.0 or 1.1 you need version 1.0 so if you have versions 1.1 or 2.0 then download this http://grandtheftauto.filefront.com/...er_Patch;74661

Then downgrade your gta it should take 2 seconds then bam!
