Check my game Desert Zombies for android!
#1

Hi,
I was interested in game development for quite a long time and now finally releasing my first game - Desert Zombies.
Your goal is to shoot zombies. You can collect coins and upgrade weapons, health levels. There also is online TOP10 leaderboard, so you can compare your scores with others.
It was made with Unity - awesome game engine . Tell me what do you think about it.
I hope to see some 5 star ratings .

Actually, and no offense I'm not trying to start trouble here...I just went to install it and its asking permission to access "phone calls". When I look...this includes the ability to get my phone number and serial number of the phone, check if im on the phone, the number of the person im on the phone with, etc.

Get rid of that requirement and I'll install it. Until then, sorry but I'll have to pass

A lot of apps use it (like alot). Most developers don't even notice it's in their manifest and it's mainly used for the unique identifier to track their apps. Though I agree if you read the references it can be quite invasive.

If I recall Unity uses it to know correctly handle the app when a phone is ringing etc. Though it can be manually removed. http://developer.android.com/guide/t...est-intro.html

(just thought I'd give some pointers as it's his first app).

Yep, a lot of games uses that permission to track application installs stats and turn off game sound when call incomes.
It doesn't really have any storyline, you just shoot the zombies and try to make your highscore bigger. It's my first try, so I know it's nowhere near perfection .
