Pawno is working but with problems
#1

Hello when I open a pwn directly by double clicking it, It shows error " Failed to Set Data for"" "
And after that. Blank pawno opens. Other problem is that I am not seeing those features of includes at the Right side of Pawno like a_samp.inc and its features and all others.

So how do I fix it ?

First of all, NEVER double clicking on the .pwn files. You must run pawno.exe > Open File > *.pwn

* is the name of your file.

For the last one, After you've run pawno.exe hit the "Options" tab. And check "Show Function List" to be with a ✓

The function list is checkmarked ✓ . But functions are still not available.

I just saw the section. It's not related to client problems (samp.exe), but the editor. You should've posted to Scripting Help section.

Anyways, after you told us it still does not show the function at the right side, I searched for it. What I only found useful was that post: http://forum.sa-mp.com/showpost.php?...5&postcount=10
Give it a try, hope it works.

You have no idea what the fuck you're talking about. Troll

Make sure that run as administrator is ticked in the properties of pawno.exe

Then, you can freely double click .pwn files and they will open properly.

And for what reason aren't you allowed to click on PAWN files? You're speaking rubbish.

Everyone I've seen so far had similar problem (not updating what he was editing) was because they were double clicking the file and the .amx was not updated. If they ran pawno.exe and opened the file via the editor, it worked.

I'm not speaking and neither "writing" rubbish, that was the solution for the above cases I mentioned.

That's actually weird because all it does is read the file and put the data from it into the editor, just like when you open it through the editor + it always worked for me and all other people I know doing it like this

Meh...
Run as administrator once and uncheck "Options -> Associate with .pwn files" and then you can open .pwn files normally by double-clicking without asking to run app as administrator every time.
