New hack causing crash issues [known]
#1

I've recently seen some posts about 'how to fix this'... but I do not believe this should be a "end user" or administrators issue when it comes to this hack...

User joins servers, and hacks his camera angle or something and causes anyone around him and him self to 'timeout' due to GTA:SA/SA-MP crash.

I tried looking around and a few weeks have gone by since reports started to come in, I my self been hit with this and already took measures to stop it in 1 of my servers but its not 100% nor do i trust a silly coding.

Is there a new client/server download coming out to stop this messy bug?
or a real threat to deal with real bugs, majority of the post have idiots [sorry] talking about 'its your server lag, or your sa-mp or your PC].

I haven't commented in them due to me forgetting my password but now that I am able to login to this forum, i thought i would make a post, seeing how I have not yet seen one.

its already been seen by some people, this hack is very annoying, and adding a few lines doesn't help, because each server is different, triggers false positives and I do not see how this is now the administrators fault to find a mysterious fixes other than what's read in sa-mp forums by unknown Russians
[which Dugi or someone else I believe posted in some forum some where else about it]

Its cute seeing little kids use it and act like they are in charge " i will crash your server, ooooo " -threats- etc etc-
its pathetic and making a mess in allot of server.

and for anyone reading this, would you please stop posting stuff in sa-mp forums if you do not know.
someone who reads allot [me] is really tired of [reading/seeing] users abusing other users for something they are trying to clearly report and no one gives them any attention due to their language barriers or their skill level,

sorry for ranting, just kids man....kids.... lol thanks for reading,

SO, i hope this is already on peoples minds and maybe you guys didn't want to post in order to control the damage, but I am just looking for answers to a already known issue for the past weeks.

Just to add if i have forgotten, the CODE that DUGI posted isn't 100%.

its not 100% accurate, very very buggy, this code should have "use at your own risk"

Respectfully- the code does help, but its not a 100% solution to a fix.

Its implied that any and all code used here is at the user's risk.

Dugi's stuff is a good stop-gap until the issue can be corrected in the SAMP client

Also would like to ask, instead of that kick code, would returning 'return 0;' would stop the issue without the kick? (I already put a way to stop this in my server, I just want to have a topic where people can go and see what they can do for fixes)

and would also like to see if there is other fixes besides 1 (the previous code), and-so returning '0' be also best option, too ?

Yes returning 0 will fix this also.

Why would you even ask this? I PMd you this yesterday about return 0; rather than kick, yet you still ask here. -.-

I'm running this code (bartekdvd version) but someone still seems to crash all the players, and I'm 100% sure its not a DDoS attack because there are no bandwidth spikes, not a script issue either because I know there is nothing in the script that would cause a major player crash, its something within the samp server.

After this about 3/4 of the players disconnect (they dont crash, the messages show as if they left the server).

Can't be anything script related im sure, also about 3-4 minutes later the server returns to its normal state without a restart, so this has nothing to do with any infinite loops, any solution here?

This is some type of SA_MP exploit i'm sure, i noticed it on other big servers also..
