MySQL R7 and Windows Server 2008
#1

Ok I did some googling about this, and I've seen that others have had a similar issue, yet no definite answer on ways to solve this.
We're using a Windows Server 2008 and My script uses MySQL R7 plugin and I've put the libmysql.dll in the server root directory, everything is as it should be.
However, when the server goes to boot up (and I know this is the right plugin because it works on my local Windows 7 machine) it will get to the MySQL.dll plugin, yet all it says is

Код:
Loading mysql
 Failed
I do know that you'll need the .NET Framework and it is installed.
Does anyone have any other ideas on this?
Thanks in advance!

Which libmysql.dll are you using? There's an updated one for R26 on the ****** code page. There's one for the previous versions (R5 through R25 I think) that have a different version of the libmysql.dll file. Make sure you're using the correct one!

You should try running Win Server '08 on a virtual machine so you can see if there are any errors appearing other than the server not loading.
