"Controlls and Redefining them"
#1

Ok I've done as much research as I can looking for controller and control issues. So I finally made a post about it. Here it goes.

First I read about the Glitch/bug that goes with using a pc controller, I know about the laag and syncing issues that goes along with it.

This is the problem: OK to get rid of the auto aim glitch, just change options in controls to Mouse and keys, but it will still read your Controller, for the most part that is. Here's my problem, when I set controls to Mouse and Keys (in the pause game menue) when in a vehicle the right knobby stick only looks left and right, not up and down ( like with controller turned on in options) and while "on foot" I cant look around at all with the right Knobby stick.

I need help to make my right knobby move the camera around like it did before. The reason I did this was to disable auto aim and still be able to use my controller instead of Mouse+Keys.
Any help at all on the situation would be bomb.
Thanks

So you have "mouse and keys" selected?

Yes, that is the only way to turn auto aim off and still use your PC controller.
Problem is when you do that, you cant use right knobby stick to look around or aim,
you have to use the mouse.

Thats the whole point in changing it from mouse to joypad. It changes the aiming.

So you can't fix it to not have auto aim and still use a pc controller
for every aspect of the game?

Perhaps use a program like SAAC (San Andreas Advanced Control) to configure this. It allows you to perfect controls for joypads, allowing you to do virtually everything with the joypad and SA. Unfortunately, however, I don't think this works on Vista, if you have Vista that is.

To me SAAC sucks, I use Xpadder which works with most controllers and allows you to map any keyboard key/mouse button/mouse movement to Joypad buttons and analog sticks and triggers

True, you could also use Xpadder or any other gamepad profiler like that. Anything similar will do.
