I'd like to make one of my buttons on my mouse perform an in-game command, it would be /whatever (nearest player id) how would I go about doing this? it's one of the main reasons I've got this mouse.

Yes, but the software should be compatible with your mouse though.

you can do that with auto hotkey

Binding a command to one of the buttons would be easy.
If you want it to detect the nearest player ID, it might be possible if you do some memory hacking.
