Help me. Going to run a server.
#1

I have a linux VPS from windows azure. I've decided to run a SA:MP server on it. But the problem is, First: I don't have staff members, Second: I don't know why but it does not work when I'm connecting my SA:MP client at to the server I've created from the linux VPS, Third: I don't know how to use plugins.

If there's anyone who can help me with everything, will have the staff position.

I think I need these:
Staff
Plugins
Scripts

Why did you run a server when you don't know anything? You don't even have staff members.

I'd just got the idea after the pilot's life server is not working. I already have the vps before and I'm just thinking to make it a sa:mp server

If you don't Know how to run a Server Then just Simply Don't

But you can watch tutorials on the tutorials section to learn some basics and then start off

If you want to start a server, do so. No one can truly stop you. In my opinion you should make it, start small, learn all the small details, plugins ect. Look around for tutorials and then ensure your host in reliable with a good uptime.

Once all that's done, hire a close friend that you can trust to assist you in running day-to-day operations, you can't run a server alone. Don't start a full community until you gain a good PB on atleast one server, then from there proceed to add other servers, (MC, MTA ect)

Get a website. .com and .net domains are best. Get forums and a website for applications ect.

I also tried it in windows vps but when I'm going to connect to the server, It does not show. It only shows at the same vps where I did host the sa:mp. I did portforwarding and turned off the firewall, still it does not show. I think i is because Azure uses IP forwarding... Where the IP of the VPS in local network is different from the IP in the internet. or just something like that...

Windows Firewall will be enabled by default, you need to allow your server port through.
