Ive done everything the way it says and have the old retail version with patch on but every time I try to get into a game it starts like it is going to let me in then it goes to single player. I don't know what I am doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

I am running windows 7 64 bit with all the requirements met. Am using version 2 disc U.S. with no mods or anything, just the patch and samp and still cant play. PLEASE HELP!!!

I have version 2 of the game but in the read me it says 1.0? Do I need to patch?

Allready went through all that. You think Id be asking for help if I hadn't? Get off and get someone that will actually help fool

Here's my suggestions:

• Reinstall SA:MP
• Reinstall GTA:SA

If that doesn't work then somethings wrong.

Thank you for the nice response. I have tried both numerous times and it still loads for a sec then straight to single player. I wish I could get a moderator or something to help with this

This happened to me like, a trillion times.
Check your firewall and Security setting and especially your Anti-virus software, whatever it maybe (I had Macafee when I did all this, so I can't help with that).

Then if it's all clear, restart your PC and Run SA:MP as Administrator, and it should be fixed.
If not, then:

Defrag your computer, then do all that.
