I'm pretty sure there has been threads about this before, but this is kind of getting out of hand.
Firstly I am not mad about the -reps I received since some of them are legit, but bunch of them are simply stupid, something like "Cool" "You suck" "YES" and bunch more which are not valid reasons.
As far as I know, -rep means Disapprove, many times it doesn't even make sense when people disapprove something that isn't supposed to be approved or disapproved...
I'm sure no one will do anything about this, but what the hell, I'll give it a try since it's annoying, and go ahead if you wish to -rep me, I don't see anything here to be disapproved but yeah.

AT LEAST make names visible, so if someone disapproves, you can simply discuss with the person and sort it out.

This has happened to me, lost 37 in just over a week. And yet for some reason you came on my profile insulting, do you think I am behind it? I don't -rep people unless they're doing something really bad like a personal attack, and I still didn't both -repping you for that even.

Anyway - The negative reputation was created to suit the user opinion about the post - If he doesn't like it , He can simply -rep you.

It's all up to him - He doesn't like what you said.

Yes but, there is difference between like and disapprove... by not mentioning the name, the person feels more secure by -reping people without consequences that should be followed.

When did I say "You suck"? I never even give immature reasons like that... It wasn't me who -repped you, I dont even know what post you'd be talking about even.

-rep is pretty dumb because people don't even challenge your post anymore, they don't need to justify their disagreement. They just give a typical "Fuck you", and it gets abused seriously...

Why should the name be listed ? - A user didn't like your post , So he -repp'ed you.

You shouldn't -rep him because he did the same , However - One day he might post something that you won't like - So you'll -rep him.

Other than that - It would be a kids issue.

Wow... some greasy sad fuck has been -repping everyone under my name. Clever, made me laugh but it's pretty pathetic and I'm 99% sure who it was too. Maybe the staff should do something about this though, it's pretty abusive.

What do you mean by Like? how do you like someone's post? Disapproving something should be discussed.

It is right that person will receive -rep back, well that's forum owners job to make it right, I really don't know how this should be dealt, but what's happening now is not right.

I guess you didn't read any further on that reason right?

It's no misfunction at all but more of a preference which could go 1 way or another, either have a way for people to freely give out rep either way or have it that almost none -rep is given out but that most likely might be valid(but many validones would get cut off):

What you don't see is that there would be many people out there with valid -rep reasons that wouldn't
be giving out -rep because they'd be afraid to get -repped back.

I don't care about it but this threads make me sick and I don't know how people can go that mad about some number on a forum. Just ignore the douchebag -rep and acknowledge the valid-ones.
