I've always noticed a lot of banned users on this forum but it's always been a mystery what did they do to get banned? What is the most common reason for being banned? How do you get unbanned?

For breaking the rules. You don't get unbanned unless the person who banned you made it temporary.

I'd assume the majority of them get banned for too many warnings, they eventually expire unless set otherwise.

Another big thing is if you insult a beta tester. It's not like they're corrupt and demand you to do things, but if you insult one out of the blue there's a good chance they'll ban you for it.

Quite frankly, many people who have been banned deserved it.
