i dont know which one to get the alien ware which is more expensive or the XPS M1710 so i made a poll for you to vote

Even though the Alienware is just a fancy Dell, I'd go with the Alienware, It has better specs.

The Alienware is far better. It's a laptop so you can't upgrade it later on. Whenever someone asks me a question about a laptop, I ask them...


How do you see yourself using the laptop?
What will you be doing?
Will you be transporting it around?
Is weight an issue?
Is price an issue?
If you are gaming, What sort of graphics?




The Dell doesn't really have an updated graphics card, It's really old.

The XPS M1710 is awful, an old 2Ghz CPU and 1GB DDR2 RAM?

alienware m14x is just overpriced, hideously.

Look at an MSI gaming laptop, but I would seriously just build a PC.

I hared that people have lots of problems with Alienware after couple of years. So if you're getting one make sure that you get an extended warranty, at least for 3 years.

Alienware is the way to go tho.

But ill rather build a custom PC.

Alienware is EXTREMELY overpriced, and the build designs are actually quite low-end in the PC gaming market.
