I think that problem is in gtaweap3.ttf. Maybe, on program that you launch GTA (maybe, Wine) this font isn't installed.

SA-MP doesn't even run on a mac? Are you using a different OS? If so, why even mention that it's on a mac?

SA:MP is not officially supported on Mac.
