TIPS TO MAKING YOUR SA:MP SERVER FAMOUS
First of all users on SAMP forums have probably already realized that there is a Server Advertisement area were you can post information and more about your server. Here is were the Server Advertisement sub forum is: http://forum.sa-mp.com/forumdisplay.php?f=22. What to post in the Server Advertisement sub forum, well first introduce yourself as the owner and the type of server you are advertising, example; Stunt, DM, Freeroam, Roleplay and so on. Second, ad pictures and information like hiring admins or Faction Leaders. Try to have a Video in your Server Advertisement. Last, Give the server IP and if you have a forum, ******* channel or Teamspeak server for the SAMP server then give the links/ips to that. Make sure your title is saying the server name and type and then submit thread.
Some people are new in Samp forums or they do have enough reputations to post a Advertisement in Server Advertisements, so your next best thing to do is make a ******* trailer for your video. Try your best to make this trailer good and HD.
You will realize that players will start to join after this but some won't stay, to get them to stay follow the steps bellow.
*Make sure you have a good amount of Administrators suitable for you player base and that are professional and experienced.
*FOR ROLEPLAY SERVERS: Make sure to ONLY hire experienced, active Roleplayers for Faction leading and only start with 2-3 factions open then increase once your server player base does.
*Keep the server updated, script and test everyday, people want new and better features added to the server.
*Make a Forum for the server, on the forum add all the server information and updates and anything else you want to add, make the forum easy to use.
*Have a good Host and amount of players the server can hold.
*Tell People on your server to invite other players.
*Have a Teamspeak channel, Teamspeak.com, Teamspeak is a program that allows you to chat with other people using your real voices.

Hopefully this helped those starting a new server, if you have anything else you want to know to keep your player base high please ask and i will TRY to help. I am not exactly doing all this for reps even though i want reps, i am doing this just to help those who start servers and only get like 5 players a day and then they give up a couple of weeks later, you guys probably want to make a server with 50 players at least, most of the tips i gave here should help you get that.
