Hello am hosting a server my friend's ping is 420-450

can we lower the ping to atleast from 350-375 without looking for a faster internet router ?

help will be appreciated

The only solution would be to get hosted by a hosting company.
Or, close internet consuming programs like skype and stuff, but I don't think that will change that much in ping.

but its not a economically feasible option,i am pretty sure his friend will not be willing or able to move closer to him geographically just to reduce his latency.

Correct. That response was made as an example of the only OTHER alternative to paying money for a host and not running your server off the home computer.
