How would you guys react to an Angel Pine roleplay server?

It's small, but I think it would be great if you have a 10-15 playerbase.
And, it also depends on what you can come up with, if you look to unique features.

Yeah started in LS and didn't turn out how I planned, I feel a move is what we need temporarily and then possibly a move in the future? How would players react to that is my question.

EDIT : What about Fort Carson, or is that to common?

I think, that if you stick to Angel Pine, and in the future, when Angel Pine is too small, you can expand to Blueberry, and after that, when these 2 towns are too small for your playerbase, you can expand to LS.
This way, you will create a playable area troughout the development..
This is just my idea though, I don't know what others think about it.

Sorry, I prefer to work alone.

Take it from me. I had a server that was fairly successful for a month or two (even though the script we used was crap). However, once enough players began getting money and buying houses/companies, Angel Pine was way too small to continue RPing in. We had actually even custom-mapped the whole town of Angel Pine (offering more houses/businesses, etc), but it just wasn't enough.

You're better off sticking with towns that have other towns nearby, or picking SF/LS as the main location.

My option is, make the server in the area you're going to be in for a long time till you expand somewhere more far.

It would be a waste of time to go through custom mapping angel pine then later on move to LS, SF, or LV.

I recommend, and I've done this in the future (other game of course) is make low donations. If you're selling VIP for above 15 dollars, nobody will donate for a server that's new. Because they will know if server fails, they just know they wasted time and money on a server that barley stood for 5 days after they donated.

But yeah, I would stay in LS anyways, its big, gots many places to be, and people are mainly around a small town as well. Well not small small but its a one great town where nobody will go to county or angel pine to hang out.

At first it may seem attractive, but after a while it gets boring. I would recommend doing a little more ground.

Los Santos is simply awesome for roleplay servers. It has areas that suite to any type of roleplay. A ghetto for street gangs, high rises for executives, and rich neighbors hoods for the wealthy. Other places have one or the other, but not all.

Los Santos is too overused to be honest.

I have previously run Angel Pine Roleplay myself, it was one of my first servers! Raven's script and we were off! Had a small player base of about 15 and it was all running well, just we grew bored due to lack of space and having to drive for a little while to reach some other places like towns! So it is good however a few new mappings may be required if you wished to have a hugh playerbase
