#1

Hello, I have a question. Can I own a hosting company? I don't know a lot about programming but of course... you can always pay a pro to do it. What will I need? Who do I have to talk to? How much may I have to pay? Please answer. Thank you.

If you don't have enough money to buy a domain and dedicated servers, don't even bother trying to start.

Well, if you dont know if you can, then you can't.

@Max Colhart, Buying a dedicated server isn't a professional hosting company. A pro company has its own servers, and doesnt buy other servers... if that makes sense.

Ugh, I meant you'll have to get a dedicated server from somewhere, you just dont grip it out of the air, you have to buy it from somewhere. When you buy it, its YOUR OWN dedicated server.

Leasing dedicated servers or co-locating your own doesn't make your company look professional, at least not in the game servers market.

Any hosting company lead by a minor doesnt look professional, as in general they are illegal and you can loose your server at any time without any reason or compensation incase the owner gets into trouble.
They are usually just hard to identify, as most of them miss any kind of information about the owner.
