Settings to properly record
#1

I'm using Fraps to record but for some reason the quality isn't good. I can't record in 1920 x 1080, because the file is too large and Camtasia can't handle it for some reason. Plus, the quality ends up like shit in ******* for some reason.

This is how it looks on 1920 x 1080: http://*********/RZEyZR_re3k
This is how it looks on 1600 x 1024 (the max resolution without the file being too large for Camtasia to handle: http://*********/mEtEpyFkEvg
This is how it looks on 1280 x 720 (looks the best, but still doesn't look as good as others): http://*********/Ga08u-Kmrco

What resolution is the best for uploading to ******* and have good quality? Any other tips too?

Thanks.

First of all you can use Fraps to Record and after you can Convert them and Size is Reduce.

If you can Upload some little large size file than 1600 x 1024 is Better but Dont worry 1280 x 720 is also good so you can Try that too

If you dont like Fraps, You can use Bandicam To Record your videos

If you want Full versions of Fraps or Bandicam than Contact me

Use PlayClaw. It's a new recording software and have multi-core rendering support.

Lag isn't the problem, but I installed PlayClaw anyways and the quality is much better (probably because you can choose what dimensions you want your video to be). The multi-core rendering is just a plus.

Thanks, I might consider buying a full license.
