I'd always go for a dual core android device if possible. Laggy Android devices aren't fun to use.

Not all un-dualcore (or let's say other) android devices are laggy, according to it's price, It seems great.
If you are looking for a tablet with the same price range, I guess this is it.

Most of them are. I suspect this tablet will be laggy as well. Android is an OS that requires a lot of the tablet (hardware sided). You can compare Android with Windows, and iOS with Linux. Windows is very "heavy", Linux isn't.
