The world has been devasted by a worldwide nuclear war and the few people that survived were those that happened to take cover in a self-sustantable bunker-alike governamental constructions, supposedly made around the Cold War's period. About two generations had passed, and the people within that Vault were still surviving. The radioative levels outside had drastically lowered by that time, but yet most of the water sources had absorved radiation and were unproper to be drank, as well as the area close to the point-zero, which had yet alarming radiactive levels around it. One day, a riot bursted and one insatisfied crowd managed to open the until then locked Vault. What they found outside outcame their expectative. Actually, there were already a few semi-organized communities living on the wasteland. Mainly people from other Vaults, even though there were also some people that sough shelter within the metro stations that lied underground and managed to go through the tougher stages of the aftermath.
