My SA-MP Server is Offline but .exe is open
#1

Hello!

I want to open a home server for me and a couple of friends of mine to test some gamemodes.
I donwloaded the server files from website, unpacked, done everything related to the .cfg file(lanmode, announce etc),
but when i start the server.exe file and open SAMP my server is offline on the list.(whatsmyip.org:7777 is the server IP).

How can I fix that? It is not my first time with SAMP servers, but on my old servers i haven't got this problem.

Thank You!

Try localhost:7777 and if your port isn't forwarded you can't play with your friends unless they're connected with your home network.

But the strange thing is that the server is offline in my SAMP client too... I don't understant why, it should be online for me and offline for my friends.

Hmmm... I tried forwarding my port somehow but I see it didn't work. I got a Huawei HG658, can anyone help me with port forwarding?

Disabled your PC's firewall
The firewall can block access of your server.
The firewall can be enabled by any antivirus.

Ok! On your samp you put the 192.168.0.2:7777 to the SAMP list (just an example ip) and give your friends the 71.45.95.452 IP

You have to make sure that the server.exe is passed through the firewall

Did it but still doesnt work.

I turned the Windows Firewall Off and also turned my AntiVirus Off(Avast) and still doesn't work.
My old servers were made on Windows XP, now I got Windows 7... Maybe is related to my OS?

Connect to the router, Search for NAT/ Port Mapping . There you can open the port.
