Just a question for y'all to help me on. I want too build a PC for around Ј300 but might stretch to Ј350...
It can be AMD or Intel, doesn't bother me! But please, keep the price within the budget!
What's best by todays standards for that kinda money?

You may struggle, so maybe 400-450 is reasonable.

Bearing in mind, I don't need a case, mouse/keyboard and stuff like that

How much gaming do you do? You could easily spend 300 quid on just the processor and graphics card, never mind the rest of it.

I could build...
Intel Core i3 processor
ASUS nvidia geforce GTX 650TI 1GB
1TB HDD
500 watt psu
8GB G-Skill 1600mh/z ram
for Ј350... would this be a good gaming computer, or ?

You need a compatible motherboard too, you could save a bit by having a smaller HDD.

The motherboard is compatible, and only costs Ј40

Sorry for double post but I do go to school, I'll be saving all my school money and hopefully getting a saturday/sunday morning job to help raise some money for my new PC. That's why I don't want too invest so much money into a gaming rig as it will take me an awful long time to get the PC.

The only thing you get with a weak or B-brand power supply is blue screens. But an i3 will easily bottleneck the rest of the system. You should really look for something like €500-600 (Ј410-492), for something that you can use for 4-5 years. Rather than having to upgrade everything after just one year.
