So eh, I decided to play sa-mp again. I installed GTA + sa-mp + downgrade patch.
After all of that, I click on sa-mp.exe and nothing happens.. I tried the compability mode, etc, nothing works :<

Hello Baucas,
do you have Windows 8,I'm pretty sure that SA-MP doesn't support it.
Please do a CLEAN reinstall of GTA San Andreas and SA-MP.Because SA-MP won't really work with downgrade patches. So Reinstall the game with the 1.0 Patch, make sure It's a CLEAN install with nothing in the root folder, and play it.

I have Windows 8 and I can run SA-MP, so it is definately not the operating system's problem. It's something else that is blocking your SA-MP or the anti virus which blocked it. Check your anti-virus and fire wall and other 'blocking' devices even though I know that 90% of the time it isn't the fire wall's problem but just make sure.
All I can say is it isn't a Windows 8 problem.

I'm using Windows 7.
There's no server_log in the folder.
I'm gonna install SA again, without applying the patch and see what happens.

A server log is found only when you run a SA-MP server...
