Ok so yeah, I figured out how to install SAMP on my mac, I used wineskin winery, and it works good with barely no crashes. I can go IG but the thing is I can't see the playernames, server players or the chat. Yeah, and when I tried running the singleplayer the screen goes black and I have to CMD+Q.
Does anyone have a clue what the problem is?

Go to, Options and enable the HUD. Or, Press F7 a couple of times.

I too run my SAMP on my mac, the tip is to install most core fonts including the one that comes with SAMP so you can see the text in game and the death icons.

You need all of the windows fonts, that's what I mean -.-
