SAMP for mac plz
#1

Hello ppl, I am new here, and I play GTA SA on Mac, and tons of ppl (Including me) would like to request SAMP available for mac and let everyone in the world have fun. Since Appstore published GTA SA for mac players along time ago, I asume many players already finished the single player missions and some even have a 100 % game finished. A lot of people are bored of playing over and over again or just walking around, instead they want to play with different people around the world, my friends always recommend me to play SAMP but it was always the same reply "I play it on a mac". So brining SAMP into mac will be a great change for all the GTA SA mac players, thank you.

Download Crossover or wine
Download a windows version of GTA SA
Use CrossOver to open the windows version
once you have the windows single player working on your mac download SAMP using crossover and then you can play

No, what I really mean is make the software compatible for mac, since not all of us know how to do the porting thing and some don't even work

Look at my created posts, I believe I made on for pawno but the method is the sake, if the sa-mp team shared the source for both SA-MP and pawno I would convert it.

RanSee's reply is the only good response. There is no Mac-native SAMP and I don't imagine there ever will be.

You can't create MacSAMP via PAWN script, having access to the PAWN source () would do nothing, converting the SAMP source would require a LOT more than pushing "compile" (and would be unsuccessful in the end anyways)

I ment the source for both samp and the custom pawn compiler and editor. And yes that would be possible as compuphase do not have a mac version but they say it is possible and they released the xcode project for it. Furthermore the san andreas in the mac app store is a cider wrapper which means it still has the original game files.

Seeing as how porting a game from Windows to MacOS is a huge job, you can bet your money on it that many internal things in SA have changed. As such, if Kye were to ever develop an SA-MP version for MacOS, it would be more efficient to start from scratch.

Not to mention it's probably not even allowed...

It's not porting the game its porting samp seeing as rockstar released the cider port of san andreas which still includes original game files
