iTunes account help

Hey guys. I'm having a problem with my iTunes account. I made this account awhile ago and I don't remember what I put in for the birthday, so I can't do that. I have to do the email option. Why am I trying to recover this account? It has 14 pounds in it. I'd like to use it to purchase music. So, I go here and type in my email, but I never get the email. What can I do?

check your spam folder, try again every few hours. They may be having a problem, or your email provider may be having a problem.

That happened to me with my iCloud email address(I have a mac) which is the same as a itunes account as they are both appleID's. I just kept trying to recover by email and eventually I got a email.

Keep doing that. If that doesn't work contact Apple support.

Yeah, I just got the email, and about 100 others from Apple. Haha. I guess Apple was freezing or something.
