phpBB really sucks. Move to MyBB, there are alot of plugins and better themes, I'm just enjoying it right now.
For the website, go to 000webhost.com
After you register, you can create a domain and just choose your current one you have, so you will only need to point the name servers and upload the backups, if you have. There are even email forwarders, subdomains, auto backups, everything you need, and it also doesn't lag and hasnt any downtimes, I'm using it already for like 2 months.
After you access to FTP (best to use filezilla), upload your website files in the public_html folder and create a new folder " forums " in public_html and then go to Redirects and create one forum.serverdomain.com, but if you want only to have and upload the forum files, simply, upload them to public_html without any folders, extract them and after that install them.

Why you should waste 350$ for a forum software when there are tons free? Like phpBB and myBB.

It all depends on where you live, since some companies are not avaliable world-wide.
