Is it possible to EditObject on an Object Attached to a Vehicle?

So I can attach the object and then use EditObject to choose the correct position (Similar to EditAttachedObject)

Will it work to do EditObject and then attachobjecttovehicle with the difference between the vehicle position and the object final position?
