1. Why can't I advertise my server in the Advertise section is a question. I'm not avaiable to post a thread there.
2. A server that I usually login to is DDoS attacked. Called GamerXServer. I wonder what to do if my server get DDoS attacked? what does it actually mean being DDoS attacked?

1) You need a certain amount of posts and forum rep to post an ad, see HERE.
2)DDoS stands for Distributed Denial of Service, its a type of attack where an attack comes from multiple compromised computers; usually in the form of a packet flood. The packet flood overwhelms the server and causes players to be unable to connect, hence the name "denial of service". If you get a server which is popular enough to be the target for a DDoS, congratulations, however there is little you can do to prevent them. Some hosting companies boast packet filters which can help against smaller attacks but in the grand scheme of things there is little you can do (or GamerX would probably have done it).

You need 7+ Reputation and 20+ Posts to make a server ad, as far as it is YOURS.
