Anyone here still interested in good-quality, proper roleplay?

Out of each 10 players, maybe 1 will stay to play actively and roleplay, the other 9 are either hackers or people that only want admin/vip/refund/stuff

Lucky enough our current players are loyal as I told.

It's rare you'll find players who play roleplay to actually roleplay (stupid I know). However I believe it's important to have other features within a script that players can do whilst playing as at the end of the day it's still a game and players won't be able to/want to roleplay 24/7. I've noticed you have to go through roughly 15-20 players to actually find a person who genuinely likes roleplay for the roleplaying aspect. Their are still people that enjoy it, it's just there aren't that many.

Well when I am searching for a roleplay server the mean features I look for is the Unique-ness in them, for an example, maybe a server with a whole lot different location other than LS or SF? Not saying San Andreas but maybe a one with another whole city (Take a extended map version of bone county if someone made it)or not the city but also the map, I would like to see a whole lot of RemoveBuildingPlayer then creating more objects, maybe removing some areas around to make LS seem more present?

Also for our project (New York Roleplay) We are making a whole tire new rolepay environment instead of using San Andreas, since we want a whole different atmospheric to our roleplay along with real life, and never seen before features to SA-MP.

Don't get me wrong, I do love other Roleplay servers taking place at any other place, its just that I hate them refunding, and giving out VIP, I am just a Roleplayer that just wants to start fresh, like I just arrived from Los Santos, and C-RP so far has that feeling.

Every so often you will find a server that has the wow-factor about it both script and location wise however they are usually not in the lime-light as such and it's rare you hear about them which is a shame really. For example a server called epic roleplay, they had both an amazing script and an amazing map. The only problem is it seemed that the people who joined the server for the first time didn't actually want to RP or even discover the server which sucked.

Well Vital, that is why people make introductions of the roleplaying places onto there server, which yea sometimes annoys me but any who, and if the roleplayers would join and don't feel like roleplaying

which I really don't get why they joined in the first place..

If they aren't in a roleplay mood then they can just easily quit and join another server, other than that..

And I am guessing this is why LS-RP made the "register from the site" thing?

More than likely. The whole thing about their registration process is it filters out the people who actually want to play the server for what it is and the people who are just joining random servers. The only problem is new servers can't do that as people wouldn't make the effort on a server with such a small player base.

And I agree, most of the time it's better to have one area where people chill out and RP as you generally get more roleplay done. Having it spread out especially on small servers makes it feel empty.

Yeah I really enjoy roleplay.

Which is why I've started my own Roleplay server.

I agree to you on the most parts but;

- I personally like Los Santos the most, because it's wide varity of places. You got ghettos, office places, villas and trailer parks all within one city. Well this is mostly because my roleplay community isn't based on one special aspect (like mafia or gang only), the only downside is that it's harder to find other players to interact with.

- As for the refund stuff, I also agree to you. This only closes down the server's economy. I made the mistake of providing some too high rewards for jobs, but I was able to swiftly nerf the economy system to make it better. All we have is starters money, which you ICly took from where you came from. We just temporarily have an action where new players get a small reward for joining.
Still, it's still posible to buy one of the cheapest vehicles (Tampa and Clover) with the starters' money, to balance it out.

We're dealing with the same issue, sadly.
Our players, and also myself, are reviewing the server good enough. I asked them to fill out a simple survey and be honest in it. Many players like the script, development, way admins are acting and the fact that we won't touch IC things too much. This means that rules won't be enforced OOC when it's an IC issue.

As for tutorials, they are mostly boring but nice to show you around the server. If I try a RP server I don't need one explaining me how to roleplay, but I want to know the server locations. Just in some cases they are way too long.

I'm interested in roleplay. I was never attracted by fast cars and houses. I like to roleplay as a gangster or police officer
