Hello.

You're asking a very general question. I haven't seen your gamemode or server, so I can't say what plugins or scripts you are using.

Please could you provide some more information on your server so I can make recommendations that will work for you.

Depends also on players latency. A server can lag for many functions called at the same time. E.g OnPlayerUpdate that is called very very often and much code inside might cause lag.

there are many things which cause lag. player latancy, plugin, maybe too much filterscripts, much warnings in your GM (happened to me), and many things..

so, we can't say anything about it without any info as Hawky said.

The biggest problem that could be, is the machine the server is hosted on..
If you have a home-hosted server, from your own computer, then most likely that's the problem.
If you have a hosted server, then my post is not interesting for you, then it's something else
