I know this is a noobish question but im trying to make a server and on the server-readme ive filled everything out but when i try and run it, it says i need to change he password from the defult one but i cant find anywhere to change it.

Even you have changed password in server.cfg,still give appear message in log file?delete log file and open server again and let us know what it says in log file

sorted that problem now new problem: It says its online but i cant see it on my samp server list and ive announced it

the list is very big,you should wait untill it loads fully,you should check if your ports are opened too
