Well the second guy get timed-out why?

I've encountered the same problem before, i was connected to Teamspeak,SAMP server, FTP, and i get timed out and i get banned from the VPS, i had to restart my computer and flush my DNS to go on it agian.

Well it depends on the settings of the FTP server. Sometimes, its allowed and in many cases its not recommended.

He must have got timed out as the FTP server could not cater two IPs on the same account at the same time. So probably, its not configured to serve more than one IP on a particular account at the same time.

There is likely a FTP User Cap per group, I have had 3 people on 1 FTP before I haven't 'yet' *touch wood* encounterd a problem. The user cap can be capped at any level, when I get to my main PC with my FTP Server on it I will post a screen here.
