SACNR Average Playerbase

A question about the average playerbase on sacnr.

My average playerbase now says 7.16.

At night we have usually only like 3 players online for 10 hours long, but most of the day we have 20+ players, how can the average playerbase be 7.16?

Not that it matters a lot but I'm curious if they use a special way to calculate it, because I would just think the playeramounts every hour / 24 hours would give the average, right?

It counts from when your server started, meaning its low because your server was empy in its earlyer days.

I really do not know, but they should to the average players "refresh" 24 / 24 hours.

It was in a beta state for over a month, with only me and a friend online.

Will that ever reset or will it keep counting from the start?

It should reset on every restart.
Since i don't think that they're going to overload the database with the old data.

I think it keeps counting from the start..

There is no need to overload it,

They can compress all old data into one variable, which will count X amount as much as the newest day. where X is the amount of days the server is up,

But I don't know.

you should also consider the player average calculation on a weekly/monthly basis. each hour counts (its players online at that moment), sum-up the cross sum of like 24*7 hours' player-amont, then divide that amount by 24*7, to get the average. the lots of few players moments (like 3-7 players) are decreasing the average...

Well thats the point, I dont have a lot of those moments.

From like 10 in the morning till 16 its like 15+/0 players. From 15 till 22 its like 25+.
After that its becoming less and usually at around 3 we have only 3 players online, but still don't see how that can get the average to 7

The way to beat it is to have a 20 player flat level for 24 hours it always help s with a big boost.
