After reinstalling my computer's os when I put gta and sa-mp back onto my computer, I set my resolution up all the way along with all the settings. When I exited the esc menu my font was nice and small of which I like. After closing and reopening my gta/sa-mp the font is back to normal size. Is there a way I could get the small font back and keep it?

Make sure to click Save Settings so it actually saves them and if that doesn't work then I don't know

You have to relog for the chat to be re-drawn with the resolution you set, you can't keep the extra small chat.

check file permissions in GTA San Andreas User Files in documents right click on it and remove read only and apply it to files and subfolders and all

I guess, change the settings from single player first then it should work..
