[FilterScript] [FS] Easy Vehicle Selector

About:
  • This is a vehicle debugging filterscript for SA:MP 0.2.
  • It's easy to use, small & fast.
Features:
  • Key based control
  • Sorted list of vehicles (by category and weight)
  • Ability to change vehicle colors while selecting
  • Some usefull commands for manipulations with vehicles

How to use:
  • You must compile the source (if you didn't download the compiled version), add the easyVehicleSelector.amx to your filterscripts/ folder and then add the appropriate lines to your server.cfg.
  • Start sa-mp server and client.
  • Connect to your server.
In game, like as in original debug mode, type in chat /vsel to launch vehicle selector and use next keys to select/change vehicles:
  • VEHICLE ENTER / EXIT - quit from vehicle selector
  • SPRINT - create selected vehicle
  • WS - list vehicle categories
  • AD - list vehicles of selected category
Also you can use next commands:
  • /vHelp - help info
  • /vSel - launch vehicle selector
  • /vDel - destroy current vehicle
  • /vInfo - show current vehicle's info
  • /save {comment} - export to file {GTASA dir}/savedpositions.txt current vehicle's data ( It's built-in sa-mp command )

Your script work' fine ^^ ,he have no problems

But you can add in the next update : auto-delete vehicule when the player choose an other car .

This is great work.

But,You can deluxe it.untill it becomes PERFECT.
Like,as G@k said,you can add the auto delete,when person is spawning next car.
unless the road will be full of cars.

Untill now,there is no bugs.
I hope there wont be eny bugs.

Useful, And I suggest you to do what g@k said about removing vehicle after creating a new one.
But do it with an option.

IF you would like,I can make it for you.
that when someone Respawn other car,the first 1,gets auto deleted.

If you can't i can give u the PAWN code,or ill make it for you and reupload it here.

Thank you, this script is almost perfect.

There is one annoying thing about this script... the angle of the camera always resets to the back of the car when browsing through vehicle list.

BTW, can you make it more responsive? Sometimes it lags when I browse too fast. (maybe it's because of my old PC)

Yes, when new car selected, angle will resets to default. It's sa-mp server built-in action if spectate mode is enabled. I try to do selector without spectating, but if you in vehicle while selecting, LEFT / RIGHT / UP / DOWN keys (WASD) will not work if you define for vehicle handling other keys. For ex., in my config vehicle handling keys are Num 4 / Num 6 / Num 8 / Num 5 and when i in vehicle, i must use Num 4 / Num 6 / Num 8 / Num 5, not WASD.

Yes, on my second computer with lower hardware configuration i saw some lags while selecting too.
