System Requirements - But server?
#1

Is that sys req good for SAMP server, if VPS has RAM 256MB; Internet port in 1Gbit/s and out 50 Mbit/s; Bandwith 300 GiB; Hard drive: 30GB? If yes, how many servers i could host on this server (how many slots, etc)? What about mySQL?

I see system requirements at SA-MP wiki, but that is for PC.

Servers aren't created equally, nor are game modes
Depends if the VPS Node is overloaded and the quality of the bandwidth.
Oh, and your game-mode. There's a difference between LVDM and Raven's Roleplay, for example

For a point of reference, however. I have a client with Nginx + PHP + MySQL + SA:MP using 76MB RAM, using roughly 100GB bandwidth per month.
Of course, this, is an incredibly optimised setup, but 256MB RAM should do you just fine.

In terms of slots? Difficult to say.
Theoretically, as long as your server is finely tuned, you should be fine with over 100 slots.
Your main concern should be the bandwidth; overages for bandwidth can be nasty.

You can just host 'a' server. an average samp server takes abt below 100 mb ram so it should work..

Remember that companies that offer VPS's are very limited about how much CPU you can use. So I would contact them because even a optimized roleplay gamemode like mine at 75 players uses 3% of CPU on a Quad Core 3.2GHz. And a lot of gamemodes now days are way off from being optimized and can use a heck load of CPU, and VPS companies are very strict about how much CPU you can use.

Anyways RAM wise, I would get at least 512MB of RAM to be on the safe side. But far as it goes how many players you can hold, it all goes by the gamemode itself. Bandwidth wise, you can do about 100 players online 24/7

Better enough for you to get a 512MB VPS. And as what Jake187 said yes. It's better for you to optimize your script if you haven't then you can be running your server fine on it.

Thanks. Someone smart. Its funny when someone says you can host 50 players when you have
like 12 gb ram
100 up/down
i7 cpu etc.
( Note I am just giving an example )

Anyway what Jake said is true. ( Note not all company's are strict about the UCP usage but its really hard to find one that does not care. Just read the ToS to be sure. )
