Hey i have a question how to start up a home hosting? cuz i wanna host my server

http://whatismyip.com, try giving that IP to people. If they don't see it, you'll probably have to port forward, and edit firewall permissions.

I had all kinds of problems allowing my server through the windows firewall, I even disabled it totally and it still didn't work, if anyone else is also having this issue the simple fix is to uninstall windows firewall and install COMODO Firewall wich you can get for free from cnet
