Practical vs Written Examination
#1

Hello guys, I made this topic to get a few suggestions (Good ones please ).

I don't know how to start but this is what happens:
Whenever I'm asked to do something practically, I'm always the first one to complete it perfectly compared to others in my class. Not boasting, you'll know why..

But when it comes to written examination of the same thing! I fail, basically, I'm the lowest scorer in class.
I don't understand for what reason...

I'm the Technical manager of my school among the students (Anything Computer, Physics). But I fail big time at these exams... lol..?

So, any suggestions on how to improve myself in the examinations considering I'm good in practicals..?

It's hard for me to reply on this, your country probably has a totally different education system than mine.

But if I were you, and if you were in my country, I'd choose an education which focuses on practical things - they need a lot of jobs over there anyhow. Choose something you'd like to do for a living, and it should work out. It won't block all written exams, but it'll be more about the practical part.

A thing that absolutely boosts my theoretical knowledge of whatever is combining it with practical work. Like implementing complex mathematic structures and creating some program to perform the most basic actions with it. Most things require you to think really a much about them when actually applying them. Unfortunately I need myself to be quite motivated to learn this way, and most of the time im not, but if i am it is even a lot of fun and often replaces some of my other hobbies for some time. However this mostly applies to areas like maths, phyisics and IT, and wont really help you with others like languages.

I guess thats exactly what you should do if you dont like written and theoretical exams, just try to find something interesting where you can use you practical knowledge.

Some of my other friends said this too. Guess I'm not suitable for the current system of education in my country.
But yeah, written exams won't stop me from developing my skills. It's just like a formality to done before I get a job. I'll try.

Yes, I do the same thing, for example, If I'm given some physics problems, I try to script that in pawn and see what happens in samp. (Depends on what I should use for what problems..) Or any other practical solutions I can think of.
