You can always try Windows Movie Maker.

Windows movie maker is terrible, I suggest you look at Sony Vegas.. Even though it's not free, I'm sure there must be a free trial version available?

Sony Vegas is great, if your looking to make a good professional video.

Windows Movie maker on the other hand... Wont be good.

But yea, Sony Vegas / Adobe After effects, both are quite expensive though.
