Hi!
Recently my server has been attacked by bots. The hackers use a program that make connections and put to join bots very fast. It crashes the server and make it down.
Anyone know how to stop this? Something to stop it in the incoming connection? Thanks!

or pickup a proxy IP. I banned more than 30 IPs

It's about the attacks that you are experiencing, and try contacting your host.
My idea is just to simple shut down the server for like 1-2 days.

It's not a ddos attack it's from one ip range ban the ip using the first two sets of numbers as in like 25.255.255.255 use banip 25.255.*.* console.

Volt-Host has something to block this by the way.

Those bots are coming from your internal IP (localhost). It's you.

127.0.0.1 = Your internal IP address based on your network card = localhost.

Yeah in your script you have NPCs connecting. You might wanna change maxnpc in your server.cfg

I think I found a way to stop most bots.
From the fact that most hackers uses proxy and my players are from Brazil and Portugal, i will ban all IP masks of countries that provide proxies.
I set up a script that generated a list with this IPs and so she saved the file samp.ban
If anyone needs, you can contact me, I send.

Acho que descobri um modo de acabar com a maioria dos bots.
VIndo do fato de que a maioria dos hackers utiliza proxy e que meus jogadores sгo do Brasil e Portugal, vou banir todas as mascaras de paнses que fornecem proxys.
Montei um script que gerou uma lista e assim salvei ela no arquivo samp.ban
Se alguйm precisar, pode me contatar que envio.

You're going to ban people from your server, yet it's your own computer that's connecting the bots in the first place? Kay then...

...and, most countries actually host at least one proxy, so you've just banned the world?
