SA-MP Radio

Hello dear users of the SA-MP community, me and a friend was talking, and my friend raised the fact he had an auto-dj'ing server live, and We had the question of:

"SA-MP FM"

Q: What is SA-MP FM?
A: Basicaly, SA-MP FM would be based of the Audio plugin released here, but we would provide a free radio service for sa-mp servers

Q: What? I still don't understand?
A: Basically, we're hosting a site, which has an DJ all night all day using AutoDJ. You'd basically set the audio plugin to accept feeds from the samp FM, and it'd play live into your game via Incognito's Audio plugin

A: Ofcourse. As I forgot to state. We won't always have the auto system playing the tracks. we do indeed plan on having DJs live to fill most of the slots.

THIS IS NOT LIVE YET, BUT THE AUTO DJ IS, THIS THREAD IS TO SEE IF PEOPLE WOULD/WOULDN'T USE THIS SORT OF THING.

Yes, The owner of the first project is a Disco manager, so all the music played is legally obtained.

Why would you release a plugin via Incognito's Audio Plugin, while we have a native stream function in the next version which won't take very long?
An IP is enough.

And are you sure you want to do this?
You must be legal to do this, and therefor your music has to be legally obtained, as Infinity mentioned.
And depending on the country your streaming from you probably have to pay taxes.

Here in holland I have to pay to Buma/Stemra for every listener I have. And if you want to stream on multiple servers with multiple players on each server it would become a pretty expensive hobby.

3) We don't have to pay for every listener we have? It's fully legal.
4) The each server, they'd all be running from 1 auto DJ, which people can request music on the site if they wish. If wanted we could probably make another auto DJ to do half the servers, so not all servers are running the same music.

For example. Genres can be split between different Streams
We have no limitation to what we can do with the shoutcast/icecast systems.

Depending on what country you're from, you will probably have to pay fees. Like mentioned above, in Holland you'd have to pay to the company called "Buma Stemra" to be able to call your webcast 'legal'.

Also, I hope you're not expecting to see many DJs with legally obtained music coming here offering to help. I've been closely involved with the original SA-MP Radio project, and about nobody who applied was in the possession of legally obtained music.
