I recently put 11.10 Ubuntu on my Netbook, Since I got bored of Windows 7. What are some must have apps, or apps you recommend? Also, Can anyone tell me if there is an app that will be able to hack into wifi networks? I want to test mine.

Aircrack-ng is good for getting in to Wi-Fi connections usually.
Other than that, important things: Wine (preinstalled though), Flash Player, PHP server (for non-shell scripting) and Pidgin.

Note that cracking encryption WPA+ isnt a thing where you download an app, run it, and click on the "crack it!" button. It includes collecting a lot of specific data and evaluating it using several tools like aircrack. Be sure to read detailed tutorials about it!
