Scripting mistakes and HP.
#1

So, I run a DM server. At times, players report that when they get shot with sniper or deagle ( Or any other weapon ), that they usually take less HP than what it should really take. I must say, it has to be something on my gamemode. The thing is, I don't know what exactly is causing it. I've read my gamemode from start to finish 5 times already, and can't find anything that would cause it.

So, I'm wondering, what "Script wise" would be causing this. If it's not my gamemode, it must be the server ( Other reason that I can think off (Serverffs)). If you have any idea(s), let me know asap!

But - when you test it 1 vs 1 it will take the normal damage?

Filterscripts ?

1vs1 is usually fine, it's just at "random" when it happens. Let's say, there's 10 players near an area, they all shooting around at each other, one of them usually takes the hit but the damage made by the weapon to the player is inaccurate ( Low ).

I don't run any filterscripts, my GM is optimized ( Or I optimized it as much as possible ), I have up-to-date plugins.

Hmm, then it's probably a ServerFFS problem. If it's optimized then I don't see the problem.

// But still strange that it's taking less damage.

Probably. Being optimized isn't always the answer. I'm looking for like coding mistakes, eg: not freeing sql result when it was supposed it, maybe causing problems?. I've already checked all that and that's not that problem. Like I mentioned, I've checked my script several times for coding mistakes, but couldn't find anything that looks wrong or misused.

Giving it another bump. It's happening again. Its usually at "Times" that it happens. There's been 3 reports already ( I don't trust the guys that got reported, as they are ex-cheaters. So they could of cheated here, not sure.. ), but I'm still wondering about this problem. Has anyone got a solid answer for me?
