[FilterScript] Custom Horns [0.3d]
#1

Hi all

been very inactive recently due to another 'profession' minecraft but when i saw that a 0.3d RC was released i couldn't resist to try.

here's a quick thing i made up, its a custom horn script. it's for a big part customizable and really easy to understand.
i know i use old techniques but this was a clean server i downloaded, didnt want to dl all those includes. you can modify it to your needs however

about the script:
building time: about a hour and a half. most time got in searching for horn sounds
lines:86
difficulty: easy

this script uses the new 0.3d function PlayAudioStreamForPlayer. so it wont work in previous versions
you can sound your horn with the submission key, or 2(standard) but that is configurable at line 6
the dialog id is configurable at line 5.
i think when you add more sounds it will just stretch up, so it will still work.
the command to access the dialog is /horn.

the thing to sound it for all is not tested at all, due to not having someone to test it with. please test this for me if you are able to.

i think everything is clear now, i bet you want to have a link right?
here it is.

Enjoy

Won't say anything bad,, Pretty good actually.

I wouldn't put much effort in something that is still bugged and not yet fixed (0.3D)

I would've waited a month atleast..

Good effort.

When I go in game and select the horn and go to do it I crash. Do you need to have the stock cars or something?

I have a question for any one using audio streams.

If you use PlayAudioStreamForPlayer while there is already a stream playing, does it play over the original stream or does it end the original then play the new one?

very nice but: PlayAudioStreamForPlayer(playerid, horns[Horn[playerid]][0]);
the playerid is in the while loop before, so why call the function for the player again?

you can't on my site. but just try a filesharing site with direct linking.
that'll do the job too i think
or if you have a very good one, you can pm me it and ill update the script

Im always keep adding more horns to this script if you send me them.
