Connection problem on LAN server
#1

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to test a game mode I downloaded on the forums. I downloaded the full script and connected with localhost:7777 and also tried 127.0.0.1:7777, tried to change the port and several settings in the server.cfg. Somehow I can't connect to my own local server? What could be wrong here? I tried to ****** it also, but no help there.
I got Windows XP (so I can't run as administrator) and my internet is working perfectly.

It used to work like 2 months ago when I used it.

Help!! PLEASE

I don't have access to our routing. Is there any standard port, which is open for sure, then I can just change the port to that. :P

Okay, I have access now and I have portforwarded from 7775 - 7779. Though I can play on other :7777 online servers. The weird thing is, that I can see my LAN server and ping to it, but somehow can't connect.
